PTE Core in Canada

Pearson's fee finder lists PTE Core in Canada at CA$360 (CAD, checked 19 October 2026), the same as PTE Academic there. Book PTE Core on Pearson. What PTE Core is and how it differs.

How to book

You book and pay on Pearson's own website; RealPTE does not sell test bookings.

1. Choose PTE Academic and check availability on Pearson's website.
2. Enter where you want to sit the test, choose a test centre, and pick a date and time at least 24 hours ahead.
3. Create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your passport (put middle names in ‘Given names’).
4. Answer the booking questions, agree to Pearson's policies, pay the fee, review and submit the order.

Pearson must receive full payment in the specified currency. It accepts a range of credit and debit cards and digital payment methods such as Google Pay and Apple Pay; in India PayU is also accepted. PayPal is not accepted.

Rescheduling and cancelling

Rescheduling is free if there are more than 14 full calendar days left before the test, up to 6 times for one appointment. With 14 days or less left, a test cannot be rescheduled: it has to be cancelled and booked again. Pearson does not publish a separate rescheduling fee.

For illness or a family emergency Pearson may, at its discretion, allow a free reschedule; the Request Emergency Reschedule form must be submitted no later than 72 hours after the test appointment, with evidence.

How much is the PTE exam fee?

It depends on the country. Pearson's fee finder shows ₹18,900 in India, US$248.60 in Nepal and A$499 in Australia (checked 19 October 2026).

Is tax included in the PTE fee?

Pearson's fee finder does not say whether tax is included.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my PTE test?

More than 14 full calendar days before the test: full refund. Between 14 and 7 full calendar days before the test: 50% refund. 7 calendar days or less before the test: no refund.

Is there a PTE rescheduling fee?

Is the PTE fee shown in local currency?

Each fee is shown in the currency Pearson's fee finder uses for that country, for example Indian rupees in India and US dollars in Nepal. We do not convert currencies.

Where do I book the official PTE exam?

On Pearson's website (myPTE). RealPTE does not sell exam bookings; a RealPTE practice plan is not the exam fee.
