What the score report shows

When you finish, the report lists, in this order:

1. Estimated overall score on the same 10 to 90 scale as the real test.

2. Four skill scores: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

3. Every question you answered, with its score: spoken answers word by word, with the words you missed or that were not clearly heard, your pauses and your pace; written answers for content, form, grammar and vocabulary; reading and listening answers against the keys.

Scores are estimates from our model, not Pearson results. How the AI scoring works.

See a complete sample score report: every section of the report, made by the same report code from a synthetic answer sheet.

After the mock: find your next question

Start with the task type where the report shows your lowest scores. Open its practice page, practise a few questions with AI feedback, then retake a part test for that part.

Before you start

Use a computer with a headset and microphone, as at the test centre, and keep about two hours free: once you start, the section clocks do not pause. You can resume an unfinished mock test later without using another one.

Readable sample report: synthetic demonstration

This synthetic demonstration report excerpt uses saved RealPTE-authored answers and synthetic speaking recordings, not student records. It is not a completed full mock test, so no overall or four-skill result is inferred from these few answers.

For example, Repeat Sentence feedback identifies the missing words “full” and “all”. Follow its link to hear the answer, inspect the recognised words and read the saved rubric points. These are practice estimates, not official results.

Questions students ask

Is the full PTE mock test free?

Yes, once: every RealPTE account includes 1 full mock test with an AI score report, and signing up is free. More full mock tests are paid (A$9 each, or included in Plus).

Do I need a payment card?

No. You need a free account; no card is needed for the free mock test.

Is the AI mock score my official PTE score?

No. It is an estimate from our model on the same 10 to 90 scale. Only Pearson issues official scores, and your real score can differ.

How long is the mock test?

About two hours: 70 questions in three parts, Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening, timed like the real test.

Does it include the new 2025 question types?

Yes. Respond to a Situation and Summarize Group Discussion are in Part 1, as in tests from 7 August 2025.

Is there a shorter or sectional PTE mock test?

Yes. Each of the three parts can be taken on its own, and there is a 30-minute mini test in RealPTE's own format. A free account gets 1 of these in total; Plus includes 3 a day.

Sign up free and take the full test when you have two hours.
