More Meaningful Tasks

You are halfway through a twelve-week unpaid internship at a marketing firm. So far you have mostly been photocopying, filing and ordering supplies, although your agreement promised exposure to client campaigns. Speak to your supervisor at your weekly catch-up: express appreciation, explain what you hoped to learn, and ask to be involved in at least one campaign task.

Thanks for making time for our catch-up. I want to say I've valued being here and I'm grateful for how welcoming the team has been. I did want to raise one thing, though. I'm now six weeks in, and most of my work has been photocopying, filing and ordering supplies. When I signed up, the agreement mentioned getting exposure to client campaigns, which is what I'm studying. Would it be possible for me to assist on at least one campaign, perhaps drafting social posts or sitting in on briefings? I'd love to contribute more.
