Terms of use
These terms are in English. The site interface is available in other languages, but this English version is the one that applies.
These terms apply when you use RealPTE (realpte.com), run by PTE Study Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them.
Not Pearson
RealPTE is an independent practice service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Pearson. PTE and PTE Academic are trademarks of Pearson Education Ltd. Our questions come from what students reported after their tests. We never promise that a question will appear in your test.
AI scores are estimates
Our scores and feedback are estimates from our own scoring engine. They follow Pearson's published scoring criteria as closely as we can, but they are not official PTE scores and can differ from the score you get in the real test.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in links and old passwords to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person. Do not share or resell access.
- Give us an email address you can receive mail at, so you can always sign in.
Free and Plus
- Free accounts can practise every question and get a limited number of AI scores each day, plus one full mock test.
- Plus is a one-time payment for a fixed number of days (30, 90 or 180). It does not renew automatically. If you buy more days before your current days end, the new days are added on.
- Mock tests that come with a plan or are bought separately can be used while your account is open.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Stripe processes payments.
- VIP days from the old RealPTE carry over to your account as Plus days when you sign in with that account.
Refunds
7-day refund. On your account page (realpte.com/app) you can ask for this refund yourself and it is checked and made at once:
- You can get a full refund of Plus (30, 90 or 180 days) or a single mock test bought on realpte.com within 7 days (7 × 24 hours) of paying.
- Since you paid, the account must not have used AI scoring even once.
- Since you paid, the account must not have started any mock test: full, sectional or mini.
- Use from before you paid, such as free AI scores, does not count.
- Each account can get this refund once.
- Purchases in the App Store or Google Play follow the store's own refund rules. Payments made by someone else through a pay-for-me link, and VIP days from the old RealPTE, cannot be refunded here.
- The money goes back to the card or account that paid, and the days and mock tests from that purchase are removed at once.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something you paid for does not work as described, email admin@realpte.com and we will fix it or give you a refund.
Fair use
- Do not copy, scrape or download the question bank, recordings or scores in bulk, and do not use automated tools on the site.
- Do not upload anything unlawful or anyone else's recordings, and do not try to break or overload the service.
- We may limit or close accounts that break these rules.
Content
The site, its design, explanations, recordings we made and our scoring are ours or used with permission. Your recordings and answers stay yours. You let us store and process them to give you the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep RealPTE running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, including a test result or a visa outcome. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
