Arguably the greatest mystery facing humanity today is the prospect that 75% of the 1 is made up of a 2 known as “dark energy”, about which we have almost no knowledge at all. Since a further 21% of the universe is made from invisible “dark matter” that can only be 3 through its gravitational effects, the ordinary matter and energy making up the Earth, planets and stars is apparently only a tiny part of what exists. These 4 require a shift in our perception as great as that made after Copernicus’s 5 that the Earth moves around the Sun.
