Free PTE Core Mock Test with Score and CLB

Each account gets 1 free full mock test, shared across Core and Academic; choose the 52-question PTE Core mock test for AI practice estimates in all four skills and an estimated CLB for each skill. The test has 52 original questions and takes about 100 minutes with RealPTE’s timers; scores are practice estimates, not calibrated to Pearson results.

Sample PTE Core score and CLB report

Synthetic demonstration from fixed answers, calculated by the same report code as the Core mock. This is not a student result or a prediction of your score.

The completed report also shows your per-skill CLB target, skills below that target, and a next practice task. There is no overall CLB. If scoring is incomplete, no CLB or target conclusion is shown until it finishes.

Speaking and writing questions each have their own timer, as in the real test, and the test starts with an unscored personal introduction (25 seconds to prepare, 30 seconds to speak). Reading has one 27-minute clock; listening has 8 minutes for Summarize Spoken Text and one 18-minute clock for the other questions. Pearson gives each part a time range, and these clocks are RealPTE’s choice inside it. Repeat Sentence answers are 15 seconds.

How the CLB estimate works

Each question counts towards the skills Pearson’s PTE Core Score Guide lists for it; for example Read Aloud counts for reading and speaking, and Write from Dictation for listening and writing. Each skill’s practice estimate (10–90) is then looked up in Pearson’s published PTE Core to CLB chart.

Listening: CLB 10 from 89, CLB 9 from 82, CLB 8 from 71, CLB 7 from 60. Reading: CLB 10 from 88, CLB 9 from 78, CLB 8 from 69, CLB 7 from 60. Speaking: CLB 10 from 89, CLB 9 from 84, CLB 8 from 76, CLB 7 from 68. Writing: CLB 10 from 90, CLB 9 from 88, CLB 8 from 79, CLB 7 from 69.

There is no overall CLB, and the report does not say whether you meet an immigration requirement. When an AI score could not be completed, the report says so and lets you try the scoring again; it gives no target result until every answer is scored.

Questions students ask

Is there a free PTE Core mock test?

Every account has 1 free full mock test, and PTE Core Mock Test 1 can be that one. Plus plans include more full mock tests; Core and Academic mocks use the same allowance.

Does the report give my CLB?

It gives an estimated CLB for each of the four skills, from that skill’s practice estimate and Pearson’s published PTE Core to CLB chart. There is no overall CLB: IRCC uses each skill score.

Are the mock scores official PTE Core scores?

No. They are AI practice estimates, not calibrated to official Pearson scores. Only a real PTE Core test gives a score you can use for an application.

Are the mock questions Academic questions?

No. All 52 questions were written by RealPTE for PTE Core on everyday and workplace topics, and none of them appear in the public practice sets. If a question were missing, the test would not start; it is never filled with PTE Academic questions.
